The Seventh Man! Introduction

I will count myself the sixth from among the seven men portrayed herein, who were once shipwrecked on a tiny uninhabited island in the vastness of the greatest ocean on earth, the South Pacific.

I choose to allow each individual character to remain in the shadows of these events to some extent. There are several reasons for allowing this and I will admit the greatest of these is shame! The remaining reasons simply add up to an overall lesson about what really is important in life.

Besides our arrogance, stupidity, and pride, the six of us so called wonder boys naively became experts at bestowing...well...more than twenty dubious and what we thought at the time, to be suitable titles onto the seventh man of our group of castaways who somehow managed to be shipwrecked with the six of us great fools!

Beyond the significant lessons in this adventure-disaster, I, in all humility, will elect to be the teller of this story.

Yes, I was one of those who actually lived to bear witness to the following events.

I became a witness to time and circumstances, which strangely enough, came together in an unanticipated conflict and forced unwilling participants to interact with unforeseen circumstances.

You can bet your coconuts that there was certain reluctance as to the publishing of this occurrence. My companions in this mishap...oops, I mean episode, feel that they have learned their lesson and believe it is better that the events leading up to their newfound understanding best go unpublished. However I beg to differ in this reasoning for this was a vital time that forged change and reshaped iron ideals, facilitating conditions for the good of things yet to come. And so it came to pass.

The lesson was, or is, called forging! This so called forging often takes place without an individual's acknowledgement of the powers at work or awareness of the force doing the pounding or changing…Clang-Clang-Clang!
