Sisters IN THE SUN
I’d only just got back from visiting my family in Australia when the coronavirus pandemic crashed in upon us. Since then, quarantine restrictions have made it impossible for people to get in or out of Oz. (Oh, for the days when ‘second wave’ simply meant catching another breaker at Bondi.)
It’s the constant brag of Aussies that we never brag, but I wish it were not the case so that I could boast, hand on homesick heart, that we really are the luckiest people in the world. So when the world opens up again, why not plan a trip down under, to enjoy the humour and hospitality of my homeland?
