A big room in a big mansion, well furnished and well decorated, but gloomy and forlorn. Curtains are drawn, a dim light makes things visible, and morning light seems to be trying to penetrate the curtains. Vasundhara: Life begins again!

Shashtriji: Hum...

Vasundhara: Earth has completed its circle.

Shashtriji (opening his eyes): Just like you, Vasundhara. Your name means ‘earth’, and you take a complete circle every day.
