S. Hart
I was raised in a community that still hums with folklore and superstition, and has a flair for drama that would put most to shame. Although that may not come across in novels such as these, I have a separate hard drive that holds my other work. I prefer to write stories centered around dark humor, drama and terrible circumstances mixed with folklore crashing into daily life. I'm thin as a rail, listen to music while I write and have been caught on multiple occasions dancing in my chair while I edit and proofread. I've tried many outlets for creativity, and the one that I enjoy the most is my writing, closely followed by my artwork.I do not enjoy long walks on the beach, I am not overly fond of watching the sun rise or set and I have not yet traveled to see anywhere far off and fantastic. I am, however, a damn good shot in a FPS. I drink beer, hate bananas for no good reason and my favorite season is winter because someone needs to love it. I write fast and often, and if my first novel wasn't enough of an indication, I like to please everyone.

A brief Introduction -
As the year draws to a close and the holiday season approaches, I find that I write far more often. Maybe it's holiday cheer. Or, the insomnia and the need to torrent my stress into something productive. Either way, I've gotten myself in the habit of writing frequently, and when I need a break from whatever project is deemed a priority it results in short stories such as the one attached. I've been working nonstop on the novel that these characters star in, which I'm proud to say is finally complete and will be published between now and Christmas.
I didn't describe the characters appearances in this story with too much detail, and I feel the need to state that it was intentional. I didn't want anything in it to ruin the book that they hail from. I left out anything that would spoil it, but I still feel it's worthy of a quick read.
Since I'm sure some readers will enjoy it, I'm offering it for free as my gift to you. It could probably be finer tuned, but it's just a silly little thing that I'm hoping people will enjoy regardless of a redundancy or a typo. Please rate and comment if you found it entertaining. I may have more stories coming soon, time permitting. For more info on the book itself or what else may be on it's way, feel free to visit my blog or contact me at Goodreads.
Sincerely wishing everyone well this holiday season - S. Kaeli Hart

Shopping for two children, that's easy. My daughter is happy with anything that she shouldn't have and my son likes literally everything. The problem, was what to get for Nerin. The things that he enjoys are all free, the spoiled brat. Not giving him something was out
