I can’t believe we’re finally here!

Zoey laughed at her friend as Paige dumped her luggage in the door way and ran into the hotel room, vaulting clumsily over the back of the couch. Dragging both hers and Paige’s suitcases into the room, Zoey managed to close the door behind her; turning just in time to see Paige disappear up the small hallway.

Oh my God! came a shriek from somewhere unseen. There’s a spa bath!

Zoey shook her head at her friend’s enthusiasm. Another yell soon pierced the air.

I call the double bed!

No fair! Zoey called back, following the sound of her friend’s excited voice. I thought we were going to share?

She entered the bedroom to see Paige reclining luxuriously on the double bed, sunshine spilling in from the double glass doors leading onto the balcony. I’m open to sharing, Paige replied with a wink.

Throwing her suitcase at her, Zoey stuck out her tongue. You know what I mean! she scolded. I thought we would take turns.

Fine. Paige pretended to pout a moment, but was unable to contain her enthusiasm for long. Zoey, can you believe it? We’re finally on the summer vacation of our dreams! You should be excited!

I am! Zoey protested as Paige leapt up from the bed and threw open the glass doors, turning her face towards the sun as she stepped out onto the balcony. I’m just tired from the trip.

Running her hands through her blonde hair, Paige rolled her eyes. Get used to it, she said as Zoey joined her on the balcony. We’re not sleeping for the next two weeks – we’ll be too busy having the time of our lives!

Zoey couldn’t help but laugh – Paige’s enthusiasm was contagious. And she was right, this was the holiday of their dreams. Ever since they had become friends in high school they had planned their perfect summer vacation together, down to the last detail; so when they both fell due to take leave from their jobs, they decided to finally do it. Now they were here, nothing could spoil their fun.

Looking down into the street below them, Zoey nudged her friend. Check out the view.

Paige’s eyes grew round at the sight of the lean, muscled men clad only in board shorts strolling past their hotel towards the sparkling ocean view visible from their balcony. Flashing Zoey a grin, she leaned over the railing and let out a piercing wolf whistle.

Zoey felt a blush creep up her face as the guys looked around a moment before catching sight of Paige waving madly at them. With a grin, they returned the wave.

Where are you boys heading? Paige called out.

The Tiki Bar, one of them called back. Shall we see you there?

If you’re lucky, Zoey replied before Paige could say anything.

Well, I’m feeling lucky, the other guy said with a grin. Maybe you’ll get lucky too?

Oh baby, Paige pretended to fan herself as the two guys continued down the street. "I am going to love it here."

Slipping an arm around Zoey’s shoulders, she whipped out her camera. Now, smile! she ordered. We need to commemorate this day!
