After over a century of waiting, Serena couldn’t be more thrilled to discover her first mate, except he’s Huzza of the just coming out of hiding McDarmund tribe. Knowing her duty, she leaves her home, her brother, and her friends to join Clinton’s tribe. Clinton quickly comes to care for his spunky mate, and even though he knows she has a second mate out there, he hopes he has some time to come to know Serena better before she finds him.
Time runs out when, on their third date, Serena attracts the attention of the sexy lion shifter, Dixon Hayes. First Dixon challenges Clinton, but when he realizes Serena is a gargoyle, has two mates, and he’ll be expected to share her, Dixon rejects her. Can Dixon learn to accept Serena and her bond with Clinton? Or will she lose her second mate before she even knows him?

Gargoyles of Cuchulian: Book Five

To my fellow author AE Roud. Thank you for the kind words, enthusiasm, and gentle corrections.
Chapter One
Clinton smirked. It had been so easy to crash the gargoyle’s wedding. Show off a little fang to the man at the door, and the human had been more than eager to wave him past without asking to see an invitation. He stared out over the crowd of people, scenting the air. A whiff of something earthy caught his attention, but before he could figure out the source, it was gone.
Glancing back at his friend and tribe second, he grinned. Should we go introduce ourselves to the bride and groom?
Ivan rolled his eyes. Sure.
He knew the other gargoyle had his doubts that this was the best way to reveal themselves to the Cuchulian tribe, but with so many humans around, there was little chance they’d start a fight, especially since the other gargoyles had been searching for them for the last couple years. Clinton and Ivan had monitored their efforts, impressed with how tenacious the other huzza remained. Clinton knew it was time to find out the other gargoyle’s true intentions.
Wending his way through the crowd, he ignored the surprised looks he received from a number of people. He recognized them as gargoyles in human form, and figured they knew what he was as well. The looks were because no one knew him, but no one tried to halt his progress.
He caught up with the happy couple right before they reached their table. Grinning, he watched the massive gargoyle tense, pulling his mate closer before he turned to look at Clinton.
The groom, Graden if he remembered correctly, leaned down to whisper into the bride’s ear. Guests of yours?
No,
she whispered back, looking between them in confusion.
He gazed steadily up at the slightly taller man, which happened on occasion, since he stood six-foot-three in human form. He waited for the gargoyle to realize who he was, and to his pleasure, it didn’t take Graden long. His eyes narrowed as he growled, You’re crashing a wedding, gargoyle. Care to explain yourself?
Still grinning, he looked around at the couples still dancing around them. Very few people paid them any mind. You and your friends have been looking for me,
he said cockily. I figured you wouldn’t mind the interruption after so many months of searching.
Understanding filled Graden’s
