Preface

The principles of meditation (study, imagination and affirmation) were set down in the Bible thousands of years ago. The purpose was (and is) to meditate on particular Words of God to facilitate the personal changes that allow God’s promises to be received in the areas under meditation.

There is plenty of literature on meditation (and positive affirmation in particular) in non Christian texts. This book examines meditation from a biblical perspective. It explains the biblical basis for the benefits of meditation, including positive affirmation. But far more importantly, it lists in positive affirmation format, many of God’s promises, divided into areas relevant to your life. I, and many others, have found that diligent meditation on these promises brings great benefits.

This book was originally written by me over a two year period when God called me into a concentrated time of prayer and meditation of His Word. The faith and strength that arose from this deep fellowship with God took my Christian faith to a higher level. God then sent me out from Australia to successfully minister for many years in some challenging areas
