INTRODUCTION

This Book, Holy Spirit the Ultimate Gift is a very insightful book that reveal who the Holy Spirit is and how we can walk/work with Him through His Spirit, His Words and His Gifts as to fulfil ours Service to God and our Mission on Earth. Holy Spirit is the third Person in the Trinity (Three in one).

He is not just a Spirit who appears and disappears. He is a Person that Helps us, Teaches us, Reveals to us, Directs us, Comforts us, Convicts us of sin, Baptises us with His Spirit/Fire and so on. It is possible for Him to perform all these duties because He is the same God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. Only a Supper Person can perform these duties. He is a very important personality in the Trinity. Spirit is the life-wire of every living thing. Holy Spirit is life-wire of our Christian faith and race to Heaven. Every time the Holy Spirit ministers to us, He ministers God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (Himself) to us. He gives us gifts in accordance to our abilities, as we desire and as it pleases Him. Some of these gifts are; The seven Spirits of God, nine gifts of Holy Spirit, increase in the grace of God, the fruit of the Spirit and so on. (2nd Cor. 13:14, Mat. 28:19, Isaiah 11:2-3, Rev.5:6, 1 Cor. 12:7-11 and Gal. 5:22-23 (John 14: 26, 1 John 5:7-8, 14:16).

Holy Spirit witness Christ to us through our spirit by helping us to realise how desperate we need Jesus Christ; otherwise we will be lost in sin and in hell Romans 8:16, 1 john 4:2-3, Acts 5:32, 1 Corinthians 12:3, John 1:32-34. He is the only Person who knows when the taking away of the saints will take place. He helps us not to loose our souls in hell by preparing us ready Phil 3:20-21, Rev 3:10,1 Thessalonians 4:16-18. Thank You Holy Spirit for helping us to accept Jesus Christ as our Personal Lord and Saviour. We appreciate Your gifts of soul winning, as souls are Your Heartbeats.

WALK AND WORK WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

W ALK means movement on a regular pace by lifting and setting down each foot in turn, never having both feet off on the ground at once. It is a steady advancement of steps on a move. This means our relationship with God through His Spirit must be consistent and in line with His Will before we can claim we are walking with God.

Work is physical effort done in order to achieve a purpose or result. It could be mental or spiritual. Here every assignment given to us by God must be done according to God’s standards for a better result with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit is a very important personality in the Trinity and also in this dispensation of the last days of our Lord’s coming. Walking with Him is through His words while working with Him is through His gifts. The three God-Head will be used interchangeably in this book because they are one. Again, It is important to know who the Holy Spirit is in other of His functions:-

HOLY SPIRIT IS ETERNAL (SUPREME & EVERLASTING):

Father, Son and Holy Spirit are Eternal because they do live forever. Their Throne is Supreme and Everlasting. They are supreme because they are the highest Super Power, Creator and Ultimate in all things. Holy Spirit is part of the God-Head. He is Everlasting which means that He lives forever. His words and everything about Him are forever and unfailing. Deut. 33:27, Job 36: 26, 2 Cor. 2:11 and Hebrews 9:14. (KJV Dake’s Annotated Ref. Bible)

HE IS EVER PRESENT:

Holy Spirit is the greatest companion we have. The Holy Spirit is always present to save us when we are in need or danger even before our relations or friends arrive to help. It is so because we carry Him in our bodies,(we are His Temple) being the closest companion we have. Anyone who lives a quiet lifestyle benefit most times because Holy Spirit speaks gently. When we want to get things done, we need to be more calmer in our spirits. Holy Spirit direct us to routes where it is easy, closer and safer to what we want to get. Holy Spirit helps us not to take wrong decisions because He knows everything. Holy Spirit helps us to avoid danger, for us that carries Him. The person of the Holy Spirit is the sweetest person to deal with as a Friend and Companion when one is very sincere, calm and vigilant.

If anyone wants to get things done in a better and accurate way, just allow Him to lead. Personally when I walk with Him, I Feel on top of the world because I achieve things without stress. I get results exactly as I desire it from Him as my Good Helper. It is an inexhaustible experience. It is better experienced than told. HE IS PERFECT:

God is ever righteous. Jesus is Holy until He decided to die for the sins of the whole world Mathew 27:18. Our God is the only God that is not partial and that is what made Him perfect. He gives everyone same opportunity so that nobody can have excuse of unequal opportunity. He is kind, patient, and loving God. His love is sweeter than honey and purer than gold, more precious than rubies and pearl. His love is without attachment as we humans do. Everything He does or say is for our good. Our Father instructs sinners in His way. God is Holy and He hates sin hence He forsake/rejected Jesus on the cross of Calvary, because our sins separated Jesus from God. Jesus cried, Father why did You forsake me (Mark 15:33-37, Romans 6:23). Death could be spiritual or physical. It is separation of one’s soul from the body or from God as the case may be.

Spiritual death could be sleeping into Eternal death (hell) and separation from God. Again death can be sleeping into Eternal life meaning alive in spirit with God for spirit filled Born Again children of God. Physical death could also be absence from the body and dead with or without God. God rejected the Israelites because of their sins and disobedience, so also same punishment to anyone of us too if we sin. Let everyone depend on the Holy Spirit for his or her perfection because physical death or sleep of eternal death or sleep of Eternal life, must happen. None gives signals but suddenly, so at every point in our lives, let us examine ourselves and do immediate come back with the help of the Holy Spirit for our perfection since it will be sudden taking away of the saints (Rapture) or by physical death.

HE IS WISE:

God is all knowing. God’s wisdom is embedded in His Spirit (Holy Spirit) and his Word. No one can match up with His wisdom. Before we open our mouth to pray, He hears us because He is all knowing and knows what we want to ask Him. Jesus told the Samaritan woman everything about her life, out of amazement she became the first female evangelist calling people to come and see whom she met for the first time that told her everything about herself (John 4:28-29). In other religions, it was recorded how intelligent Jesus Christ is and doing what no adult can do even as a small child.

Those things are what made Jesus Christ God-made flesh. Ask God the Holy Spirit to reveal this Son/God made flesh to you. No research can give you the understanding of Who Jesus Christ is but the Holy Spirit. We need the Holy Spirit always in our daily lives. John 1:1, John 20: 28, John 8:58, Exodus 3: 14 and John 30:30-33. James 1:5 (Romans 16:27, 1st Timothy 1:17 and Jude 1:25). Dake’s KJV

HE REVEALS:

One of the characteristics of Holy Spirit is that He reveals all things. The secret of everything is in the wisdom and knowledge of knowing what to reveal.

Naturally, we research to have knowledge but in the things of God, only the Holy Spirit of God reveals. Only the Holy Spirit knows when the (Rapture) taking away of the saints will be. He knows our beginning to the end as our Creator. This brings us to other Names of God as Alpha and Omega, Beginning and Unending, His reign are forever. Amen. He is the pilot of our lives. Unfortunately, most of us do not allow Him to pilot our lives. That is why we need His Spirit so He can help us daily by giving us revelations about our activities here on earth, about activities in our environment, about activities of people we relates with, and more importantly, about everything relating to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
