CHAPTER ONE

VISUAL CHANNELS

Literally, vision is the ability to see and contrast the features of the objectives we look at. It begins when the eyes receive light rays on an object, converts it to electrical signals and passes them to the brain, which decodes them into images. So, vision is achieved when they eyes and the brain work together to form the pictures of the objects we see.

Basically, communication is effected when images are transmitted by one party and received by another party. In dreams, for instance, communication takes place when the dreamer sees the images or hears the messages transmitted to him.

As a matter of fact, there are various ways by which images can be transmitted or conveyed. For example, they can be transmitted visually, verbally and inspirationally. In this chapter, we shall look at the visual mode, and in the second and third chapters, we shall examine the verbal and inspirational modes of hearing from God.

For the moment, we shall consider six visual modes by which God communicates to man (from the most obscure to the clearest). They are: Dreams,
