I just friggin love this series. Can't seem to get enough. What do I do when it's over ?

Well, I will say this is another entertaining and enjoyable storyline for these two couples. Who were brought together by one of the Fettered staff who are also their friends? Ari can see beyond their needs, the similarity of their lives, their needs, and their age group. She brought them together with help of their boss through their cooking class. From there, these two picked up their relationship and they started with going out. Getting to know each other and finding what help she needs to come out from hiding.
Often it is difficult to find a 43-year-old grandmother as the heroine of a BDSM novel–or many others for that matter. In reality, women between the ages of 4os’ find it hard to begin a new relationship and finding men within their age group that want to have a relationship with them. Gabby Mitchell, cookie baker and cooking class instructor to the members of Fettered, has been a little envious of her co-workers’ new D/submissive relationships. Seeing Emily and Scorpio so head over heels deliriously in love with their respective Dom’s is unleashing a kink curiosity in Gabby. She’s ready to explore her urge submitting. Identifying herself only as a single mother and grandmother, Gabby’s not sure there’s a place for her in the Dom and submissive lifestyle. Lucky for Gabby she’s got friends in just the right places to help disabuse her of that notion.
On the other side, Daniel Jardins, a founding member of Fettered along with Damon Black, left the club and the lifestyle years ago. Searching for more than a play partner and ‘hot Dom’ status, Daniel’s still drifting and wondering what went wrong. Longing for the comfort and intimacy a lover provides. Without the distractions of equipment and screening, this semi-retired Dom has no idea how Gabby is going to rock his world. An invitation from Damon to come to the club’s cooking class has him fascinated with the sexy, sweet grandmother. He quickly decides he wants to sample more than Gabby’s cookies.
As their relationship progresses and grows, they both began to see something within that they both needs. Easy enough they began to their way to each other break down all barriers and forming a new world for them. Their love for family brought something out that Daniel had and Gabby feels was fear that he wants more from her. When she thinks that their relationship was a flight that will be for a short while and then they will go their different ways. It did hurt Daniel, who has seen it all and got out of that life because he wants more out of life.
Daniel is easily the sweetest and most expressively demonstrative Dom we’ve met so far. His reflections of his life and the lifestyle enable him to have a perspective that most of the younger Dom’s have not achieved. Desire centers on self-confidence and worth in the guise of a middle-aged grandmother, and it is easy for the reader to see the parallels all women struggle within the current societal environment. Gabby’s battle with her inner demons takes the majority of the novel to resolve. Her feelings of inadequacy do not disappear overnight–and they shouldn’t. The plotting of her eventual acceptance and embrace of her self-worth is realistic and paced well.
Lilian Moon was able to bring her readers into a world and a place where BDSM will turn your head inside out and make your heart beat faster. Where friendships are made and lovers are discovered.

Was there so much sex or unrealistic sex that you rolled your eyes and/or skipped forward? Sort of

The back story... The blurb says it all

The Romance... I could kind of see it but it was all wrapped around sex for the bulk of the story. It might have been good for them to do some simple dating to give it more credibility.

The drama explosion... The H is freaking out as she thinks that she isn't enough for the H.

Final Notes... Another review hit the nail on the head. Mid-40s does not an old person make. The way it was written at times, it almost felt like they were ready for the nursing home.
