About this audiobook
As a literary agent, Charlie Greene is used to making a killing, it's her business. But when she pulls into the foggy town of Moot Point, Oregon, she finds herself party to a killing of a different kind, one with a corpse and with herself as a suspect. Charlie is accused of murdering an elderly woman whose bicycle is mysteriously found beneath the wheels of Charlie's car. This visit to the laid-back coastal town was supposed to be the chance to secure a book deal for one of her clients, but now, Charlie has herself a new project: proving herself innocent of murder.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I found the female book agent very difficult to sympathise with. The plot is set in a new age community in Oregon but to me the weridest character was the so called heroine. The others were a bit weird and wonderful and at times the conversations were ridiculous to the point of almost throwing the book away but I persevered and it was suprisingly enjoyable. The plot was very good and suitably spooky. The end was unexpected to say the least. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the totally unbelievable heroine and the rambling unbelievable conversations that intsperesed some otherwise excellent story telling. Not very consistent but I will try another of her books to see if they improve. Never been to Oregon but the descriptions made it sound quite appealing. Similarly no experience of new agers but they were more real than the heroine.
