In The FBI Way (2021), former FBI agent and head of counterintelligence Frank Figliuzzi explains how the Bureau maintains its standard of excellence. It all begins with an intricate process for hiring exactly the right people, training them precisely, and instilling in them a fierce loyalty to the Bureau's code of honor. Drawing on his own experiences and other famous cases, Figliuzzi shows how FBI agents apply all that they have learned and deal with dangerous situations effectively and honorably. Though he calls it the FBI way, he adds that anyone can adopt its principles to achieve everyday excellence.
