Lovely story of finding family in unexpected ways in a beautiful setting at a chateau in Brittany.

I listen to audiobooks when I have boring chores to get through, and the book got me through, but I found it at times frustrating trying to understand through the narrator's lisping. I generally have no objections to a person lisping, but as a narrator, it is not optimal.

I found the storyline principally okay, but the handling of a partner's death seemed very superficial indeed, and other developments to the story seemed equally improbable, or unrealistic at best.
