Reviews for Reap What You Sow

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5This book was a huge let down after reading “Insect House” by the same author. It completely lacks the subtlety and psychological tease of IH.
It’s also predictable and disorganized., with too many threads that just go no where. The main character is very badly developed; as a former ER doctor she lacks any critical thinking skills that are necessary in the real world, but has an uncanny knowledge and understanding of Greek mythology which - let’s face it - isn’t exactly a life skill. She is able to remember details and make strategic connections about things she learned years ago in a single philosophy lecture or mythology class, but she’s completely obtuse about current events from within the past two weeks. And there were many small details - such as naming the little girl “Sallie Ann” - that were almost cartoonish and even a little pandering.
It’s hard for me to believe this is even the same author as IH.
