I liked the story and the narrator brought so much feeling into the narration. I also liked the author's note, where she tells what is based on truth. Ms McGee's books are always well written and enjoyable.

Predictable characters and plot line. It was just an "ok" for me. The narrator made some characters less appealing with voices overly dramatized for me.
