About this audiobook

*His Pretty Little Queen needs to be read after His Pretty Little Burden*

.

Months ago, I was homeless and broken, and in search of a dangerous man.

I found the Devil’s prototype in a flawless navy suit.

Clay Butcher.

A man twice my age, who kills brutally, takes territorially, and hides his emotions deep within layers of smooth control.

He is my father’s enemy and the Don of the Cosa Nostra. Evil.Beautiful.Ruthless.

But he’s not the villain of my story.

He spoils me, punishes me, and holds me accountable. So, when the time comes for Clay Butcher to weed out betrayals and take revenge on those who have hurt his family, I will choose him.

I will always choose him.

.

.

His Pretty Little Queen needs to be read after His Pretty Little Burden and is part of The Kids of The District series. It has a happily ever after. It features a powerful Mafia Don, and his endearing tortured little heroine. His Pretty Little Burden has an age-gap dynamic that some people may find uncomfortable. It is an epic love story with spice, violence, gore, and drama. Enjoy.

This is the perfect conclusion to Clay and Fawn’s story. I loved it when I read it, and I loved it even more when I listened to the audiobook. Shane and Sofia were the perfect narrators for this duet. They captured these characters so perfectly and I enjoyed every second of it. This is definitely an audiobook I’ll listen to on multiple occasions. I highly recommend giving it a listen! ???

WHEW....one book definitely isn't enough with Shane East and Sofia Lette and they sounded even better in HPLQ if that was even possible. I don't know if it is because I am American but those Australian accents just hit on a whole different level. Their voices are so soothing, calming if that makes sense. Even when Shane is in full on Clay losing his sh!t moments....he still has a soothing sound. From the first time I heard him in HPLB I anticipated a few chapters and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT!

Nicci has nailed her narration throughout this entire series. If ever you have considered audiobooks this duet is an excellent intro to them. I am not responsible if they ruin all other narrators for you though!!!!

Nicci Harris has managed to make Butcher magic again! I am such a sucker for a man opposed to love being brought to his knees by a woman. Fawn was desperate for affection and turned out to be everything Clay needed to thaw his heart. ❤️ I read the ebook when it was released but let me tell you the audio is absolutely stunning. Shane East and Sofia Lette do an amazing job with the duet narration.

Great story, a little slow in some places but worth the time. As always, Shane East is fantastic, and I really like Sophie Lett too.

Fantastic book, brought everything full circle. I liked that the couple never faltered in their trust for each other despite difficult circumstances.

Oh I loved this duet so much! Not only did Fawn find her strength in Clay, but he found more of his through her. The plot twists and the spice and the action. Everything was so well done! Wish I could rate higher

After reading His Pretty Little Burden, I have been so ready to read this conclusion to Clay and Fawn's story together. Well, I am very happy to report that Nicci did not let me down. Not that I even thought she would. If anything, she gave me so much more than I thought possible with these two. It has been great to see Fawn blooming into a woman. She has found her voice and that is thanks to Clay. He is very intimidating but when it came to Fawn, he was like a big, tough puppy dog. In other words, they both needed each other. To quote Fawn..."He's not the villain of my story".Warning: If you don't like spicy, smutty books than turn around now and do not pass go. Yet, if you eat smut for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert than you definitely need to read His Pretty Little Burden and His Pretty Little Queen.
