I liked the concept: it’s is a Snow White tale written from the point of view of the stepmother and the princess. It has a lot of interesting tie-ins with the original tales, and some Easter-Eggs; however, a bit weirdly, it also has some references to Arthurian lore? It is certainly an entertaining read, more akin to something fun than anything to be analyzed.
The voice actor was really great, and has a very soothing voice.
The plot is interesting, but it doesn’t feel completely resolved by the end (the pacing is a bit off). When the main issue is resolved, there is a side-conflict thrown in at the end that is a bit confusing, and could have easily been resolved with communication between the characters.
I did like the main character (she was a bit of a Mary-Sue, though), but the other characters are a bit forgettable, or confusing. There is virtually no character development, and character analysis is a bit shallow.
In general, entertaining concept, and good for some entertainment on a late night. Don’t expect to think too much about it, though.
