About this audiobook

He fled the future with blood on his hands. Now, he’ll do anything to stop a killer.

Tragedy has yet again taken from Detective Rembrandt Stone everything he loves. Now, he has one last chance to get things right and stop a killer he’s been hunting across four timelines. Instead, he gets tangled in a petty crime that just might cost him his once chance at justice. With two murders to stop, and thirty-eight lives still in the balance, Rembrandt must play his hand against time just right if he wants to win his future.. Play it wrong and his life will stay shattered beyond repair.

What sacrifices will he have to make to come home to his wife and daughter?

The stakes have never been higher in the heart-wrenching, edge-of-your-seat fifth story of the True Lies of Rembrandt Stone.

Boy this story was a rollercoaster and while it didn't contain too much action as the previous one, that ending made it all up for me....
boy stone really can't have a break and honestly am a bit scared of what the last book will hold and how it will end... cause seriously i can't see a happy ending no matter what.

The first three books of this series were pretty good. There were some extrememely dumb parts in book four that were so bad, I rated it 1 star. That is how bad those particular parts (one , especially) were. But now I wish I rated that one as 2 stars so I could rate this one lower. I wish I could be more specific. I just don't want to be a spoiler. I guess I am being a spoiler, though. There will be parts in this book that are so ridiculous and out of character that it frustrates you to no end, and has made me not care about Book 6. I will say if Book 6 was available right now, I would probably listen to it just for closure. But by the time it is available, I will not care. I will add that this issue has nothing to do with the science fiction part of the story. It is more of a technical/situational complaint. As in, "Oh come on. He would never do that."
