- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5These books are life changing! My beliefs around alcohol are forever altered. Love them!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5didnt read the naked mind yet but I did the alcohol experiment and it really helped a lot. having a daily reading kept me on track and it was informative.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The Naked Mind is written very clearly and with compassion. She really leads the reader to understand her grand point at the end in a systemic, cohesive way. I don't necessarily agree with the grand ending, but I do believe everyone who is interested in overcoming drinking and doesn't need and/or believe in rehab should read this book.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book is for the logical, the practical, the scientific thinkers. It's for both believers and non-believers. And what I've taken from the book goes well beyond drinking. I'm a better mother, teacher, wife; most importantly, I'm a better ME. I can truly say I love myself for the first time in my life.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I have read many books in my quest to master the Wine Witch but these are by far the best. Grace doesn't try to pretend that alcohol doesn't make you feel good but she shows you the not-so-obvious downside and gives some great tools for wiping out those cravings. We all know willpower just doesn't work and she not only explains why but gives strategies that do. If you want to give up or just cut down, either book is truly empowering.
