- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I like to read the quote, read the comments, then reread and ponder the quote for a couple minutes. I try to do this twice per day, but at minimum always in the morning. I plan on going through two readings of The Daily Stoic over the next two years.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The Daily Stoic isn’t simply a book to make me think, it’s an action guide, a “prescription for handling ourselves and our actions in the world.” The great Stoics remind me never to be satisfied with learning--I must always be doing. In order to lead a successful life, I must practice cutting through distractions and desires to get to things that matter
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The Daily Stoic offers all who seek a calm, wise life a daily spiritual anchor. This book will keep you strong across dark times and steady and clear no matter what your circumstances happen to be. Keep this treasure close and it will care for you.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The Daily Stoic is a treasure for managing our choices, overcoming self-deception, and learning to act according to the true worth of things while keeping the common good always in view. Caring for the soul in this way makes not only better people, but a stronger society too

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Got this to help my husband work through a hard time. It's a great book for those who need some guidance and tips on how to take control back from external forces to control your own life. I would highly recommend it.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I asked him about Stoicism and he said that it is "really weird". Hm... I opened the book and started reading, gaining somewhat of an understanding of the philosophy, but as the author points out, I don't need to understand that to benefit from the book.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Exactly what it promises. A collection of quotes from stoic philosophers, one for each day of the year. I read it when I wake up and try to keep the quote in mind all day. The format is especially helpful as this sort of material is best absorbed slowly and regularly. When I have Marcus Aurelius' Meditations in hand, my inclination is to just keep reading. This book helps me pace myself.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book is amazing. It has the ability to magically have relevance to my life each time I pick it up. It is amazing to realize that such great men existed and if anything, should be great role models to you. This will really hit home especially if you're a logical / scientific person.
