About this audiobook
Read by the author with exclusive commentary.
Successful business entrepreneur Allie Casazza shares her powerful and proven method for clearing the clutter in our minds by first clearing the clutter in our homes, the place where transformation begins.
When Allie Casazza first became a mom, she found herself struggling to make it through each day. She battled fatigue, depression, and the unsettling feeling that she didn't have what it took to do "this mom thing" well. When she realized the root of her burden was the overwhelm of physical clutter in her home, she got intentional about what took up her space and time. The path she carved brought her and her family greater contentment and more abundant living, and she shares it in her much-anticipated first book, Declutter Like a Mother.
Allie has built a massive following--and a multimillion-dollar online business--based on her proven, family-oriented approach to living more simply. Her mission is to empower other moms to start making real, lasting change. In her winsome, relatable style, combining humor and a lighthearted kick in the pants, she motivates readers to start taking action. Once referred to as an "in-your-face Marie Kondo for millennial moms," Allie's advice is actionable, at times irreverent, and already has proven to be life changing.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The narrator/author talks really fast. She had some good insight but the things she said were pretty cringeworthy at times. (Ex: You do you, boo…) ??♀️
The whole audiobook was basically her self-promoting, she must have said her website 200 times throughout the book. But she did have some good tips, though nothing I haven’t read elsewhere on the internet many times over. I feel like she has potential to be successful but this book came across as borderline narcissistic. Give it a listen and I think you’ll see why.4 people found this helpful

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Some curse words used, so be aware of playing around kids if you don’t want them to hear it. The best part are her pep talks and encouragement. Some good tips on clearing out clutter and organizing.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Declutter Like A Mother is a motivating book about simplifying our homes and lives. It's written in an engaging, conversational tone with the focus being on intentionality and simplicity, which will help give us more time and clarity. Though it doesn't really bring any new insight into the genre of home decluttering and organization, it is very motivating.
Casazza gives guidelines for each area of the home and advice for mental blocks that may keep us from achieving the living space we want. I really enjoyed this book, which is not about minimalism as an aesthetic, but as a way of simplifying our lives and giving us more time back for more important things. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Incredible book! I’m walking away with a clear vision on how to tackle my home’s clutter and create a beautiful, useable space for my family and me to live our best life. I’m already breathing lighter!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I have several of Allie's courses, and having her decluttering and minimalism ideas into a book is so fabulous too! It was a fresh take and easily accessible format. If you are overwhelmed by your house, you absolutely need this book. I am so glad I was able to listen to the audio version and LOVED that Allie read it herself.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book spoke to me! So grateful for the advice!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great advice to help you jumpstart your decluttering mission. I personally need to hear books like this every so often to remind me to purge things that I don’t need that are taking up space. She offers good tips that are easy to follow and implement in your life.
