And the quality of our thought is often decided by the value questions we ask ourselves. Critical thinking is the art of asking important, appropriate and insightful questions in order to find objective truth behind words, events and opinions in general.
Today we have more access to information than we have ever had before. Knowledge also influences our world view and choices without us knowing it. Following wrong idols can lead us to bad decisions that lead to unhappiness and unhappy life. If "right, perfect, good and cool" is determined around us, we always forget to think for ourselves and make our own choices. And we make the wrong decisions on the basis of the judgment of others–not even our own.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The author does a very good job taking several different models such as Bloom's taxonomy and the Paul-Elder framework to help provide prescriptive approaches to improve your critical thinking. This book is a good primer for the beginner and a good refresh for the expert who wants to bring more critical thinking into their problem-solving. Easy to read and understand, buy this book.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I have read a lot about mindset improvement and thinking patterns so I usually don't come across many new concepts and ideas. But this book takes a whole new approach to this topic and contains some eye opening ideas.
