It was short and not bad. Somehow it was a bit slow and I’m not sure why. The big problem was the narrator, if your doing it as a listen. She is absolutely awful. She makes the hero’s voice sound like the terrible fop/rake whom a heroine would never marry. His voice gets slightly better toward the end but a really terrible choice that made me almost think of not finishing. Story ok. Will try the next one, which got better reviews.
