About this audiobook

A Wall Street Journal bestseller.

From the author of Everything We Keep comes the final novel in the Amazon Charts and Wall Street Journal bestselling Everything Series. Brimming with suspense, mystery, and romance, Everything We Give brings to a powerful close the gripping series of love, lies, and the secrets families keep.

Award-winning photographer Ian Collins made only one mistake in life, but it cost his mother her freedom and destroyed their family, leaving Ian to practically raise himself. For years he’s been estranged from his father, and his mother has lived off the grid. For just as long, he has searched for her.

Now, Ian seemingly has it all—national recognition for his photographs; his loving wife, Aimee; and their adoring daughter, Caty. Only two things elude him: a feature in National Geographic and finding his mother. When the prized magazine offers him his dream project on the same day that Aimee’s ex-fiancé, James, returns bearing a message for Ian but putting a strain on his marriage, Ian must make a choice: chase after a coveted assignment or reconnect with a mysterious woman who might hold the key to putting his past to rest. But the stakes are high, because Ian could lose the one thing he holds most dear: his family.

I did not enjoy how new background information was introduced. It felt more like a stand alone book than a continuation of the series.

I think each of the books in this series gets better. I wasn't initially enthused about the first book, "Everything We Keep". Thankfully soon after finishing #1, I had the chance to read the second, "Everything We Left Behind", and found it to be wonderful and helpful in making sense of the first title. I was hooked. Thus, when I had to chance to read the third, "Everything We Give", I jumped on it knowing that I had to find out what happens to Aimee and Ian. I wasn't disappointed. This series builds nicely, and is best read in order to appreciate the experiences that the main characters go through to wind up where they are by the end of this book. There is just enough conflict in #3 to have kept me interested. It is less contrived than the first book, and really shows a deepening developement of style and research on the author's part. I continued to want to read about these characters and their unfolding story, particularly Ian's childhood. I have relished this love story and continued to root for them in spite of the many challenges they run up against. The conclusion was fitting and satisfying. While happy to finally know the whole story and bring it to a close, I kind of wish that I could have just a bit more of this couple and their love story. Who knows, perhaps Ms. Lonsdale will find another "Everything" in her. I highly recommend this series, beginning at book #1, to solid and realistic romance fans. Plan to have the second and third books handy to be able to continue the saga. You won't want to have to wait like I did. If you have already read the previous books, pick this one up too. It didn't disappoint me, and I highly doubt that it will you either. My thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this title.

Kerry Lonsdale has impressed me again with the third in the Everything series, Everything We Give. In the first two novels, she explored a traumatizing and complicated relationship distorted by unusual circumstances, touching my heart in a way that no other series has. Her third (and final) book delves into one of the most loved characters entertwined into that very contorted relationship triangle. I turned every fascinating page entranced by the unfolding of Ian's present, past, and future life. Exploring a different aspect of the circle detailed for me what made Ian the impressive and authentic person that he portrayed in the first two novels. Ian, torn and confused by the dedicated love of his wife and her undying devotion to him while she unraveled years of pain and confusion in the first two books, is internally motivated to face the tragic events of his childhood and the adult life that has shaped the man he has become. It is not essential to read the first two in this series before starting this one, although I highly recommend reading the entire series in order to understand each character and angle. I encourage any reader who craves an unconventional love story with the perfect twist to start reading this book and series.

The final book in the Everything series. I really enjoyed Ian's story. My favorite parts were reading about Ian's childhood (even though it was heartbreaking what he had to endure) and the Galician horses in Spain. Everything We Keep is still my favorite but this is a close second. Ian's childhood was CRAZY, to simply describe it. Ian's mom, Sarah, was not always herself. Sometimes she was Jackie or Billy. Ian was there to witness it all and tried to take care of his mom while his dad was away on assignment. James only made a brief appearance, but that was fine because after the second book I wasn't a huge James/Carlos fan. Then there is Aimee. For some reason she annoyed me in this book. Her reactions seemed over the top. I never really got why she was acting that way in the beginning of the book. Ian had wonderful news to to share and she was off pouting at her friend's house. The truth about Laney/Lucy/Lacy was finally revealed, although there's still a mystery there.I definitely recommend the book it wraps up everyone's story (maybe not Laney's, but close enough). So readind Everything We Keep and Everthing We Left Behind is a must. After reading it I feel like the series is finished and I know everything I need to. The book deals with family relationships, especially between Ian and his mom and dad. There's a bit of mystery, because Ian has no idea what happened to his mother and is trying to find her. Plus there's some romance, Ian and Aimee can never take their hands off each other, even when they get mad at each other.I look forward to reading more books by the author. Thanks to NetGalley, Lake Union Publishing and the author, Kerry Lonsdale, for a free electronic ARC of this novel.

This book was provided to me by NetGalley.I only have one problem with this book. It is the third and last in the Everything series. I will still be living with these people for awhile. It will be difficult not knowing certain things from this point forward. They are my friends.I have loved every word this author has ever written, and I am happy with this last story of the series as it ties some things up nicely and I can't say more than that. I want everyone to read this book. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone. There are parts of the book that made me cry and parts that made me laugh, but no matter what emotion was evoked, it was done in a wonderful way. I hated to stop and do those things one must do besides read. I wanted to read it all at once, and then again, I wanted it to last indefinitely. I still do.One day, in the not too far future, I will read this series again. I believe you will too.

I loved the first two books in this trilogy and have been waiting patiently (not too patiently) for the final book. WOW - what a fantastic book. To get the absolute most enjoyment out of this book, you really need to read all three books in order.Everything we Keep was mainly Aimee's story, Everything we Left Behind was James' story and Everything we Give is Ian's story - and what a story it is! Even though Ian is a successful photographer with a wife that he loves and a daughter he adores, he is haunted by his younger years and a mistake that he he made that drove his mother away and destroyed his family. With James back in the picture and a major photography trip for National Geographic, Ian has to decide whether to ignore his past or try to fix his past mistakes at the chance of ruining his future.Everything we Give totally wraps up all of the issues from the first two books plus gives us a close-up view of Ian's life. This was a fantastic book and the perfect ending to the trilogy. Thanks to the author for a copy of this book to read and review. All opinions are my own.
