About this audiobook

International Thriller Award Winner

Fresh out of college, Evan has everything going for him: a good job, a beautiful fiancée, and the prospect of making partner at his firm. Then one night, with one bad decision, his dream life turns into a nightmare of cover-ups and lies.

It begins as one last drunken celebration with his old friend Peter but ends with a deadly confrontation so heinous the two make a pact to never tell anyone about it—not even the police. The truth has a way of getting out, however, and the truth about Peter is far more dangerous than Evan could have ever imagined.

It was getting very good until BAM the abrupt ending. Its as if the writer was not finished writing the story and just called it a day. Grrrrr.. Unless of course there is a part 2 and I overlooked it. I want to know! This is where imagination comes in to play.

A novella that packs all the frightening tension of a full-length thriller. Evan Teller thought he knew his friend Peter pretty well. He was wrong. When a night at a bar ends in a violent confrontation, it has far reaching effects on Evan's friendship with Peter and his entire life will never be the same.

One wrong choice that changes everyone's lives. I have some issues with this story - it is well written and some of the actions come as a surprise but at one point it turns into a cliche - all the way to the end. Still worth reading - for the first 75% of it. Although half of the characters (including the narrator) are really overdone and unbelievable..
