- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5group of friends host a Murder Mystery weekend, during Christmas break. Charley has always wanted to be an actress and this is a good chance to practice. She can't help feeling like the Outsider though. The rest are from privileged backgrounds and she is not.
In the script, one of the friends, dressed as Santa, is supposed to be murdered. The rest of the players then have to follow the clues scripted for them. Except, there is no body, no Santa and no sign of their friend afterwards.
Twelve years later, the remaining friends are invited to do their first Christmas Murder Mystery since the disappearance.
Some one wants answers once and for all and this time the scripts resemble each player a little too closely, including personal secrets that none want revealed. One by one the friends end up murdered and everyone suspects everyone else. They believe the only way to survive is to solve the 12 year old mystery.
Told in alternating timelines, 12 years ago and the present. This is very much a retelling of And Then There Were None. I did not guess the real killer, or their motivation.1 person found this helpful
