About this audiobook
In the midst of a savage Minnesota blizzard, investigative reporter Rick Beanblossom receives an anonymous note— much like the one Charles Lindbergh and his family received when their infant son was kidnapped many decades ago. As he searches for his own son, Rick must not only relive the horrors of his Vietnam tour when Napalm destroyed his face, but also research the tragic circumstances of the Lindbergh kidnapping. Fighting the perilous weather and racing against time, Rick desperately searches for clues in history's most infamous kidnapping— clues that may solve his own painful loss.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I liked Weatherman so picked this up and was a bit disappointed. This is story of a Lindbergh baby kidnapping-90's style. I like the lead character, the unusual hero Rick Beanblossom, who has to wear a mask to cover his disfigured face. Using his reporter instincts and his military brawn, he does his best to find his and his ex-police wife's baby who is kidnapped during a Minnesotan blizzard. The plot was a bit convoluted and confusing. I enjoyed the reading the action of a chapter at a time, but had to work to hard to put it all together. Good character description on the villain(s). I truly hated him/her/them.
