Highly recommend! Immediately engaging with action and intrigue. Complex and believable character development and relationships. Good balance between conflict/threat and reprieve, and my favorite was the prolonged and oh-so satisfying resolution and HEA!! xoxo

Absolutely brilliant. Loved every second of it. Can't wait for the next one, Gavin's story, especially after listening to the beginning, at the end if this book. I loved that Godrick's {one of the Rogues) grand father and father are in this story. His father was only 21 though.
I liked both narrators but I would have preferred one of them narrated alone, once the dialogue wasn't read according to the gender. I mean the male narrator should read the male voices and the female read the female voices respectively. It's confusing when they switch from one to the other and they still read the opposite sex's dialogue as well. Then there's no point in having both female and male.

I usually don't read pirate stories but being a Lauren Smith book I wanted to give it a try and I loved it!!
