About this audiobook

Rebecca Livingston has a problem: Her mother is desperate to marry her prettier, more talented, younger sister Lydia, off to the handsome Duke of Wiltshire but when Rebecca and her family arrive at the grand ducal estate it’s Rebecca who falls right into the handsome arms of the duke himself. Rebecca tries to avoid the seductive duke but neither she nor he can keep their hands off each other. Her mother is furious, her sister is thrilled for her – but can it be possible that the duke wants Rebecca as much as she discovers she wants him?

Miles Beresford has a wicked reputation, but will do anything for his twin brother Justin, the Duke of Wiltshire. Even if that means assuming his identity or a week to suss out the intentions of some young marriageable chits fresh from the London season. But when Rebecca Livingston stumbles out of a coach and into his arms, he realizes that he might be in serious trouble – and that playing an imaginary duke to win her over may be slightly over his head. Does Rebecca love him or the dukedom, and can he bear to lose her if he admits he’s just the Duke’s Twin?

Note: This is a standalone novella with a happy ever after.

This is a fun, quick, entertaining read. Justin and Rebecca are interesting, relatable, intriguing, entertaining characters. I enjoyed their romance and the path that it took to get to their HEA. Smith packs a lot in less 100 pages. You get everything you’d expect from a Lauran Smith story in this book. The secondary characters added to the fabric of the story and my enjoyment. The story is easy to read and get into.

I enjoyed the audio version of this story and the narrators.

Tender, sensual and beautiful story with just the right amount of passion. Perfect narration as always by Shane East coupled with Olivia Thompson.

This was such a sweet novella. My biggest complaint was that it was a novella! But I knew what I was getting going into it. The characters are fun as well as the interactions. Not to mention the male narrator always does such a good job. This is my first book by this author (I think ?) and I’m definitely going to be reading more!

Loved it. Except that although it ended sweetly I would have liked to know what happened with Lidia and Justine, unless theta their story that I don't know about. But will definitely check.
I liked the male narrator very much but not the female one, I didn't like her male voices at all.
Hopefully if there addeus Lidia's out will just be narrated by Shane East, the male narrator.
