Hello I am a big fan of David Walliams books.

First I thing it was a very creative very original but random idea it’s not a lot different to any of his old books the beginning was a bit of putting of but after you get passed that you pulled into a wold full of magic that can entertain you for hours on end

So all together I thing David Walliams latest book code name bananas was could be bit better but is still very good

This was amazing. It's a kid's story, set in ww2, touching upon the deaths of family members, and the bombings of the protagonists town, and an assortment of other war related things, but without becoming too much for a child to handle, yet not sugar coating those things. It's an incredible feat, pulled off perfectly by the author. Bravo.
The story itself is very engaging, and humourous, for me as the parent, as well. Truly a 5 star book on its own, and then you add in the wonderful narration; it's just perfection.
Just be prepared to have a couple of slightly serious political talks with your young child, and of course explaining a historical definition here and there.
This is perfect. Im sure we'll be listening to it again in the future.
