- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Hated it. I won't be reading any of the following. A gory bloodfest on repeat. It was so disappointing as I enjoyed the previous novels. Such an unrealistic premise and ridiculous representation of the characters. The ending suggests a pattern has been set of more of the same for the next novels. I wish I hadn't bothered.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Brilliant audiobook really enjoyed it, disappointed main caraters were killed off
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I am not sure if it was the author’s intent but, this is a horrific tale of what can happen when only the bad guys have weapons. As an American, I was frustrated that the killer was able to continue his spree on innocent people because even “ordinary detectives” don’t carry. This entire story of brazen slaughter continued because all the innocent victims had no way to defend themselves. This was the most depressing of the series, by far! It left me feeling helpless and depressed.
