Excellent page turner, loved it. Am straight on to the next Jane casey book

Dissapointing when compared to earlier books in series. Casey substitutes a crime thriller for a romance, but the romance is 90% workplace sexual harassment and you don't find an ounce of thrillers plot - just vague shipping and fanfiction. Hoping this very good writer didn't just cave to publisher pressure and will resurrect her research and writing skills in future.

Not bad, but I find I am only reading this latest book to see if Maeve ends up with Josh, or at least has a romance with him. I found in this story, the cases they were involved in, got in the way of finding this out.
Didn't find the the first case, getting much attention. The second case, the one where they shared a house was very interesting. As I seem to be more interested in whether Maeve and Josh get together, I will not be buying any more of this series, as I think it is going to be dragged out in another 10 books or forever.
