About this audiobook

The islands of Britain and Ireland hold a rich heritage of plant folklore and wisdom, from the magical yew tree to the bad-tempered dandelion. Here are traditional tales about the trees and plants that shape our landscapes and our lives through the seasons. They explore the complex relationship between people and plants, in lowlands and uplands, fields, bogs, moors, woodlands and towns.

The narration is excellent and pleasant to the ear. The stories are rich and colorful. It contained folk tales about plants and brand new tidbits about different celtic deities. If you love nature and plants, if you worship nature, this is a lovely book to hear.

A fantastic collection stories! I listened to the audiobook (the narrator was perfect for this), but I'm tempted to pick up the paperback as well now.
