Overall, it was an entertaining, action-packed adventure. If you like military romance or action adventure romance, you'll like this. I feel like the plot got dragged out too long with a lack of suspense near it end. There wasn't a big hook, while it was enjoyable, it wasn't necessarily the best military romance I've listened to. I'm going to listen to the next one though, as I'm looking forward to Levi's story and the premise sounds intriguing! Also the narrators did a brilliant job.
I have to add too that I thought what happened with Brooke was unresolved and also unfair to blame her. *possible spoiler* It seemed like Nick didn't handle it well, even as an adult. She can't help being gay and he unfairly blamed her and still currently did as the book ended from what I understood.
