About this audiobook
Leaders in the church are called to be shepherds, not a board of directors. This requires involvement in a personal shepherding ministry among the people. The Shepherd Leader unpacks the four primary ministries of shepherds-knowing, feeding, leading, and protecting-on macro (churchwide) and micro (personal) levels, providing seven elements to be incorporated into an effective shepherding plan.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Excellent discussion of the shepherding responsibilities of an elder. This is so critical to the health of a church. A definite must read for anyone in or contemplating that role. Super practical.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Biblical and practical. And it's the size of the practical task that leaves me feeling daunted, but that doesn't take anything away from this helpful book. If short on time, read at least chapter 9 for its summary-effect.
