I had listened to another series by this author that I really liked and wanted to check out this one. This first book was just ok to me. It felt longer than it needed to be and it meandered a bit. I liked the other series better and felt like this was just missing something and just wasn’t as gripping as some of her other books. I don’t think I’m going to continue the series.
