What our readers think
Readers find this title intriguing due to the genre-fusing of medieval fantasy and Sci-fi, although some felt the story was rushed and characters lacked depth. Despite this, the blending of old magic and space travel was well-executed, creating an enjoyable and entertaining experience.

I am in utter awe of this book, one of the best storytelling I've seen in a while. So intense and emotional without a single love story being explored, without a single" I love you" or trite declarations.
This book is so powerful and beautiful that I needed a minute silence when it ended. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5

At times the medieval fantasy and Sci-fi didn't blend as well as they could've and made the book seem disjointed, yet the genre-fusing made for an interesting story.
Howbeit, there was so much packed in
such a short book that at times it was difficult to connect to the characters and the ending seemed somewhat rushed. I wish the book had been extended by at least 200 pages to really tie story lines and expand upon characterisation.
I wasn't expecting to enjoy "Blood, Metal, Bone" as much as I did but as a whole it was very entertaining.

It took a bit to get past a few quirks of the reader but once done it was an enjoyable listen. I liked the blending of old magic and space travel, it was not over done. The way it was done was in such a way that it worked for me, and I’m pretty critical most times. Just relax and go with it, it all gets explained as the story goes with no forgotten holes.
