    A ridiculous enjoyable read.
The destitute Boarder family go and live with their Cousin Mr North and are treated as servants. After his death, to preserve their home, Millicent Boarder assumes his identity.
Then she falls in love, and her family move to London to socialise with the Ton.

Not your average costume romance novel, in fact, the main character spends almost the entire book in costume. Posing as her dead cousin Anthony North, Millicent Boarder ventures out in society in the company of a Lord of the Realm as her introduction to the ton, and helps both his sister and hers make in high society. Funny, a bit scandalous, and all round good fun.

This book was exactly what the title implies; It was ridiculous! But it was SO MUCH FUN to read! I didn't love everything about it, but it was definitely worth the read. I laughed so, so much. I love reading about the Regency period, and I found this very different from others.
