This one honestly surprised me. I am a huge fan of LitRPGs in general, but this one's take on a "Colony Builder" had me wondering if it would be worth my time (I am a massive fan of Colony Builder games). Well, I'm here to say it is definitely worth the Tyme ;) if you're looking for an action filled story, honor won through heroics, and quick level up rounds, this isn't what you'll find. Instead, you'll find a slow paced (at the start) adventurer who takes up a huge task, but a very satisfying task. From Colony Builder aspects of building to management, sneaky deals, exploration, whit, and a sensation of growth, if that's your thing, then look no further.

So with all that said, I only give it 4 stars, mainly because I felt that the overall sense of resistance for the MC was lacking a bit, or rather it wasn't as much on the trial side of things as you'd want. Sure, there is opposition, but I felt like it was somewhat lackluster, sort of like ordering a steak and loaded baked potato meal, but them forgetting to actually give you the toppings and seasonings for the potato. It's there, but not quite as fulfilling and satisfying as it could of been. Still, the overall story and progression was fun and has me looking forward to the next one.

P.s. I am a huuuge fan of Neil as the narrator. If you've listened to him in the two series "The Good Guys" and "The Bad Guys" by Eric Ugland, then you'll hear familiar voices, but they still work with entirely different people.

Great book! It took a completely different approach than other LitRPGs focused more on a business and trading aspect than becoming all powerful with skills and battle. I really enjoyed it.

I like it. Refreshing book between war and fighting stories
