About this audiobook

One final secret stands between Rho and the enemy. But will the devastating truth destroy her first?

Rho, the courageous visionary from House Cancer, lost nearly everything when she exposed and fought against the Marad, a mysterious terrorist group bent on destroying balance in the Zodiac Galaxy. Now the Marad has disappeared without a trace, and an uneasy peace has been declared.

But Rho is suspicious. She believes the Master is still out there in some other form. And looming over all are the eerie visions of her mother, who died many years ago but is now appearing to Rho in the stars.

When news of a stylish new political party supported by her best friend, Nishi, sends Rho on another journey across the Galaxy, she uses it as an opportunity to hunt the hidden master and seek out information about her mother. And what she uncovers sheds light on the truth-but casts darkness upon the entire Zodiac world.

The narrator pronounces "Cancerian" "KAIN-Krin" and not "Can-SEAR-ian". Drives me batty. Book lulls a little in the middle. Okay series.

I really liked this book! Our main character (whatever her name was) found her mother and learned that Matthias was still alive!

This book ended on a cliffhanger! I need to read the next book now!

I read this book on August 22, 2022. I thought Rebecca Gibel did a fantastic job performing this story! I thoroughly enjoyed her narration.

This book again, like the first 3, couldn't put it down. The worlds are laid out so well and the character development is so great. I will be starting the last one soon. I have high hopes!

The most emotionally draining of the 3 books! What I thought of Alpha Pack #3: Holy emotional steamroller! Black Moon from beginning to end will pull at every little heartstring that you possess. Mackenzie has been my favorite female lead to date. She has just so much to deal with in Black Moon that you really want to just wrap your arms around her and let her fall apart for 5 min. However, she keeps it together and really is the big hero of the story. Yes, Kalen is the one doing the fighting but I really think without Mac he could have been the bad guy. She was the thread that made the strong man even stronger. *sigh* Aren’t those the best kind of love stories? *I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t more Hammer in this story (he is my favorite) but a girl can’t have everything. I am really looking forward to seeing who the rest of the #nakedshifters end up mating with!

Our Review, by LITERAL ADDICTION's Pack Alpha - Michelle L. Olson:If you've followed my reviews for Primal Law and Savage Awakening you know that I really like this series. If you've followed our Author Events with J.D on LITERAL ADDICTION for the ALPHA PACK series, you also know that I absolutely LOVE Kalen. Black Magic gave me a taste of what Kalen's book might be like and I really enjoyed it, but nothing could have completely prepared me for this book. It was so much MORE than I expected it to be... and so, so wonderful!Like Primal Law, Black Moon was a fast paced, action packed romance overflowing with paranormal that will have you squealing from mid-book throughout... Like Savage Awakening, Black Moon is a captivating and enjoyable read... But more than that, Black Moon was mysterious, heartbreaking, frustrating, uber suspenseful, and full of surprises. It was so engaging that I turned the last page and just sat there shaking my head in wonder for a few minutes. We've known since book one that Kalen is dark, dangerous, powerful, and sexy. We also know that underneath all the bravado, he's vulnerable because of all of the crap he had to go through growing up. This book literally stripped him raw and laid him out for all the world to stomp on. It tested him, and tortured him, and while things were given, they were just as quickly taken away. It was gut wrenching and powerful, and amazing. Each time a new breathtaking revelation was revealed it turned things on their head for all involved and opened up yet another can of 'what ifs' and possibilities. I know I sound like I'm spouting a bunch of riddles but I don't do spoilers and this book is SO jam packed with stuff that I don't know how else to gush about it without giving things away.Suffice to say I loved this book. It was my absolute favorite of the series so far and not just because it was Kalen's book. It was beautifully written and J.D did a tremendous job of grabbing the reader and weaving a captivating tale of preternatural danger, mystery, drama and romance.LITERAL ADDICTION gives Black Moon a well deserved 5 Skulls and recommends that everyone read it. I do however strongly suggest that you read the entire series including Black Magic (Kalen's eNovella) before digging in. I promise you won't be disappointed.
