This was a cute book...my favorite part was that the hero is from Jersey and the narrator does a bit of an accent.

3.5 stars from me.

First, let me say I listened to the audio recording, and while it wasn't horrible, I also didn't think it did this book justice.

As for the book itself.....the writing was (technically) good, but the plot itself a bit muddled, especially with almost a whole secondary romance playing out beside the first one. Once our MCs finally reached the wedding location, everything just got extra muddy. So often it feels like authors are writing SPECIFICALLY hoping their book gets made into a movie, and this one had so many earmarks of that: wacky side-characters, wacky hijinks, wacky appearances of characters that made no real sense, wacky wackedyness that was never really fleshed out or explained.

WHAT I DID LIKE: the h and H! Specifically.....THE H!!!!! Good god.....smoking hot "rough around the edges" air marshal with a facial scar and an 8 pack who is actually a big softie, especially for our h?! YES PLEASE!!! He really was a loooovely book boyfriend.

But as so often is the case, the reason why he fell in love with the h just never really had the blanks filled in. Why do authors do this, so that the reader can Mary Sue themselves into the picture?! Eh. It just never really does it for me. I want to SEE and HEAR and FEEL what makes her the one and only woman for the H.

I'm making it sound like I didn't like this book, which was not at all the case. I enjoyed it, and I'm glad I listened to it. I just think it could have been better.

Cute and sweet. I enjoyed this book. Not too omg steamy but still had its sexual tension and steamy times.
