About this audiobook

From the dazzling bestselling duo Jane O’Connor and Robin Preiss Glasser, a picture book with a non-fiction twist for the fancy girl who is out of this world!

Fancy Nancy thinks that everything in the sky is simply stellar, from the sun and the moon to the stars and their constellations (that's a fancy word for the shapes that stars make!). So nothing could make her happier than a special sleepover under the stars with her dad and her little sister, JoJo. Together, Nancy and JoJo wish on stars, moon bathe, and even eat astronaut ice cream! But when rain clouds cover up the stars, what's a stellar stargazer to do?

Fancy Nancy: Stellar Stargazer!, full of celestial facts and sparkling illustrations, is perfect for young explorers.

Best of all, take the glow-in-the-dark cover outside at night to launch your own fancy stargazing adventure. Ready? Three . . . two . . . one . . . Blastoff!

This is another Fancy Nancy true or non-fiction story. This time the reader gets to learn about stars. I like this because it reads like a picture book, looks like a picture book but only uses true facts. A nice read all around.

Fancy Nancy returns in this fifth smaller-sized picture-book devoted to her adventures, following upon such titles as Fancy Nancy: Explorer Extraordinaire! and Fancy Nancy: Poet Extraordinaire!. Unlike the full-sized picture-books, this sub-series of the larger Fancy Nancy collection pairs a fictional narrative - in this case, the story of Nancy, her little sister Jo-Jo and her father camping out under the stars - with factual asides, here involving the stars, the sun and the moon. The result is a winsome little book that is both entertaining and educational.I continue to be surprised by how much I enjoy the Fancy Nancy books, given how reluctant I was to pick up the first, the eponymously titled Fancy Nancy. Fancy Nancy: Stellar Stargazer is the fifteenth book I have read about this character, but despite that fact, I continue to find author Jane O'Connor and illustrator Robin Preiss Glasser's books immensely engaging. This five-book sub-series is quite appealing, and I appreciate how it pairs fiction and non-fiction. The artwork is, as always, charming and delightful. This is one I would recommend to Fancy Nancy fans, as well as to young stargazers.

The font, the illustrations, the little fun facts - ALL SO GREAT! I really, really enjoyed this book because it was fun to read while learning some astronomy at the same time.

Fancy Nancy Stellar Stargazer is a very cute and engaging story for primary grade students. Fancy Nancy is a young girl who loves to use "fancy" words and dress up. In Stellar Stargazer, Nancy and her family decided to spend the evening and night stargazing. Before night falls, Nancy and JoJo (Nancy's younger sister) use their imagination to take a trip to the moon. This is a great book to use during a science lesson and because of Nancy's "fancy" use of words it incorporates some vocabulary words. O'Connor wrote a great quality book that has been fact checked by Summer Ash, research associate at the Hayden Planetarium Division of Physical Sciences, Department of Astrophyics. I love this book!

Fancy Nancy is pretty cute, but I especially like the astronomy theme of this one! Very fitting with the last US shuttle mission in space right now!

Fancy Nancy is a girl who loves just about everything to do with the sky. One night her father decided that her,him and his little sister JoJo should have a sleepover outside under the stars. But when sleeping under the stars the clouds star to cover them. What is she to do? This story was very cute. I loved the illustrations throughout the book
