I'm a new fan ro Heidi Bauer's work, but I loved Exit and now this one.
I don't know if she is also neurodivergent (specifically Aspergers) like the protagonist...and I know that can be off-putting when a non-ND writes about a ND individual, but I still liked the book very much.
I think much that might be received poorly in relation to Patrick's portrayal are the other characters's opinions...and they are CLEARLY clueless.
It is very well done and very human, good suspense and some surprises.
Def worth a listen!
