EE Ottoman grew up surrounded by the farmlands and forests of upstate New York. He started writing as soon as he learned how and has yet to stop. Ottoman attended Earlham College and graduated with a degree in history, before going on to receive a graduate degree in history as well and a degree in library science. Cute book, excellent story, very low angst between the characters. I really liked them and their refusal to let the other disrespect them.

The writing is okay, not as polished as it could be. There's a whole lot of unnecessary details and the story got bogged down with excessive descriptors like the directions someone took or their morning routine. It's not a bad thing for worldbuilding, but the descriptive scenes weren't tied into the plot with musings or random events.
