About this audiobook
When Caroline Daniels takes a deadly fall in front of a train and her lover fails to turn up at the funeral, Zoë Boehm wants nothing to do with the case. But Caroline's boss is persistent, and as Zoë attempts to unlock the secrets of a woman she's never met while in search of a man who could be anywhere, she starts to wonder if he's found her first. And if he has, will that make her the next victim?

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Exciting and original story with realistic and wonderfully drawn characters. Cried for poor Gwynnth! Reading makes the book come alive, and is one of the best I've heard.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Not nearly as good as the Slough House books. And who on earth told this narrator that she should sing at all?
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I found this book unlistenable and I am astonished that Mick Herron could produce such a poorly constructed, meandering, gratuitously perverse novel.
