- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Wow…. I always knew I was a little odd when ever since being a child I would “narrate “ my life… jk I never knew it was odd until I was in college . NOW, however, I realize that little soundtrack in the back of my mind is, in fact, overthinking. Being an “optimistic self-reflecting go getter” is actually “being so self critical I can hardly allow myself to sit.” I recently left my corporate job and am focusing on my peace, my health, and a new house. I LOVE THIS BOOK. Thank you Jon. Excited for the workbook and even more books to come.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Definitely a book we all need to read. Whether this concept is brand new to you or a reminder of a concept you learned long ago. It will leave you better than before you read it. Not to mention, it's down right hilarious! My husband thought something was wrong, I was laughing so hard! 10/10 recommend!

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Literal food for thought! This book is truly a game-changer for making your mindset take orders from you, instead of your circumstances. As always, Jon Acuff absolutely kills it with motivational words and funny, down-to-earth stories. This is my favorite book he has written!

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book offers some AMAZING tricks to combat overthinking!! I’ve already begun the process of retiring my broken soundtracks and it’s been so freeing!!! Looking forward to seeing the results from taking the 30 Affirmations Challenge!

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great easy read (listen) that is both entertaining and useful.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5If you’ve read ‘Loving What Is’ by Byron Katie and ‘What To Say When You Talk To Yourself’ by Shad Helmstetter - you don’t have to read this book. It’s the same information. I’ve really enjoyed Acuff’s previous books but this I felt was an exact copy of those other books published long before this one and not as well written. I gave it 3 stars because if you haven’t read those other books, this is a shorter synopsis of both and could be helpful.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5As usual, JA knocks it out of the park. Simple talk for simple action. Now to just get started!

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Everyone needs this book. Spouses. Parents. Singles. Teens. Finally practical help and practices to change natural downward spiraling thought patterns that sabotage each day. And, of course, highly entertaining in Acuff’s uniquely comical delivery.
