- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Five minutes in the author describes benefits as “never having an emotional problem again,” “but if something comes up you can perfect correct it” and “never need to resort to someone else mending your emotional issues” AND promises “fast relief from your underlying conditions.”
Not only is it unrealistic to expect people (let alone kids) to only rely on themselves to regulate their emotions, it is so damaging to promote emotional self-isolation as ideal. I really wish I could’ve gotten farther in order to learn techniques to implement with others (not just in proximity to), but I couldn’t bear another moment of such toxic rhetoric.1 person found this helpful
