About this audiobook
Ruthless cyberhackers seize a US nuclear submarine, training its most powerful weapon on a target so unusual, yet so vulnerable, that a successful strike could change the face of the earth for millions of years. With the world held hostage, former NSA operative Lana Elkins must join forces with a mysterious computer mastermind—who might be working with the enemy—to avert this unprecedented Armageddon. Intrigue, power, and blackmail force Lana to fight on all fronts—land, sea, air, and in cyberspace—to prevent the worst catastrophe in human history.
The author of Lethal Code returns with a new geopolitical thriller that combines cyberterror, environmental devastation, and unhinged ambition.
Thomas Waite
Thomas Waite’s critically praised debut novel, Terminal Value reached #1 at Amazon. Literary R & R wrote that “with time he will be called the John Grisham of the murderous technology novels. This is an excellent beginning to what I hope is a long writing career for Mr. Waite.” His bestselling thrillers Lethal Code, Trident Code, and Unholy Code were also widely acclaimed by readers and critics alike. “Taut, tense, and provocative, this frighteningly knowing cyberthriller will keep you turning pages—not only to devour the fast-paced fiction, but to worry about how much is terrifyingly true,” said five time Agatha award winning author Hank Phillippi Ryan of Lethal Code. Waite is a board director of, and an advisor to, a number of technology companies. His nonfiction work has been published in such publications as The New York Times, the Harvard Business Review, the Boston Globe, and The Daily Beast.

Reviews for Trident Code
5 ratings1 review
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This fast-paced (sometimes) thriller about a cyberattack of a US nuclear submarine and the possible destruction of the Antarctic Ice Sheet that could flood the world. So that’s the premise and the author takes time to develop the characters and the plot almost too much, but once that happens, the story moves along. I just couldn’t get into the main characters or the sub plot. I also couldn’t get into the premise (and I love James Bond), but maybe the author took it too seriously.
