Taking a deep breath, I braced for impact.
Jumping into a freezing pool of water, I let out a small squeal.
In just a swimming costume and the snowy mountains of Helsinki, my hometown, just behind me, my mind soon focused on trying to stay warm.
For some it may have sounded like a nightmare, but for me this was my typical morning routine.
