Masquerade balls are usually dramatic just on appearance alone. With the sparkly masks and gorgeous outfits, it makes for a truly unforgettable event. The Welman family’s recent masked ball was no different, except there was a bit more drama than the Hillsiders were prepared for when Esti (Reandi Grey) made her surprise appearance after having been in a coma for months!

Two Hillsiders were more surprised than others to see a walking, talking Esti – her ex-husband (André Lotter, see more on p31) and supposed true love (Francois Lensley). (Vian Singleton), making for the biggest surprise of the year!”
